CURSE OF THE ICE DRAGON
From the bestselling paranormal author of The Whispers Series comes a new fantasy saga.
Born with mark of the Mighty Hunter, Markus has the skill and strength to feed his people, but not to confront his own tyrannical father. Shamed by his cowardice, Markus releases his frustration on the forest creatures.
The village prophet warns that Markus’s reckless ways will bring down The Hunter’s Curse, and for every animal Markus kills, his loved ones will suffer the same fate. When the warnings go unheeded, the Sky Goddess unleashes her ice dragon. Now Markus must flee the dragon without killing it or his beloved brother will die.
Markus’s flight takes him to the lands of the mysterious Ice People. There, the beautiful maiden Ura helps Markus learn the compassion and courage he needs to face the wrath of the Goddess, but the final confrontation will not be without price, as Markus must choose between the life of his brother and the fate of the girl he loves.

I’d love to have some way to teleport. Long distance relationship, so it’d be nice to get to my boyfriend quicker. Plus then you can cut out all the obnoxiousness of airports/TSA and travel whenever and wherever you want (say bye to baggage fees!) There’s also a cool possibility of transporting yourself into someone’s brain, so you could implant thoughts.
December 10, 2012 at 7:37 pm
Very cool! I’d love to teleport, even to other galaxies.

After tucking my children into bed (and searching for energy to get me through a few more hours), OR maybe more importantly, when the doorbell unexpectedly rings (you know the moments I am talking about), I would love to be able to snap my fingers and find that my house is instantly immaculate, the dishwasher has been emptied, laundry folded, the pets fed, and my pillow fluffed; or in the case of the doorbell, my hair, outfit and make-up movie-star perfect! 🙂
December 11, 2012 at 4:10 am
Ha, ha, ha! Me, too.
December 11, 2012 at 4:25 am
I would be able to alter time so I could always get everything I needed to do done, but still have plenty of time for reading and hobbies without feeling guilty or lacking sleep!
December 11, 2012 at 5:26 pm
I need some of that extra time, so I can finish writing all these books. LOL!

If I could have one magical gift, it would be to heal emotional wounds with a hug. It’s so hard to see loved ones and friends go through difficult times and the only thing you can offer them is a hug and a prayer.
December 11, 2012 at 5:27 pm
Awww. That’s awesome!
December 12, 2012 at 1:05 am
If I had one Magical Gift, it would be the ability to transform a persons emotions into seeds that can be transplanted.
December 12, 2012 at 3:53 am
Transplanted into other people? Thanks!

If I could have a magical gift it would be the power of words. I want my words to be as powerful as an arrow to an enemy, or a cure to someone who needs it. My degree is in psychology, and there’s so many people who just need a kind word to be able to get through the next day. I do what I can, but with magic, I think my words would be so much more meaningful.

How very cool and altruistic. 🙂

I’d love to turn myself in water, don’t know why but I think it’d be cool and as water you can also be thin as air or cold as snow
December 13, 2012 at 4:13 am
Yes, that would be cool. Thanks for commenting!

Magical gift – to be able to freeze time in different places to be able to get more done, or really make a memorable event even more so.. thanks for participating in the hop.. This has been really fun – finding new authors and adding to my ‘must have now to read” wishlist.
all the best to you and yours this holiday season

You, too!

I would love the ability to calm myself and others in an instant, especially if there was a crisis happening and a panic would only make things worse. I think that would be a really invaluable gift. 🙂 Thank you for the chance to win and I wish you a happy and safe holiday season! 🙂

I need someone like that in my household. LOL!

If I could have one magical gift it would be to turn something worn out into new again. I can’t tell you how often I’ve been frustrated over great items becoming trash! It would eliminate the opportunity to buy something new because the old one broke though…hmmm. I think I’d still go with that!
December 15, 2012 at 4:06 pm
It would save a lot of waste, that’s for sure. Thanks for commenting.

I would love the ability to give “one more chance”. I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason, therefore I would not want to change an actual event. However, I would love to be able to give “one more chance” …. One more chance to say goodbye, right a wrong, to apologize, to cry, to laugh, to praise, to touch, to hold, and most importantly to love.
December 15, 2012 at 4:06 pm
I would love that power right about now.

Time Travel! Not only could you visit other times, you could have one more conversation with loved ones you’ve lost.
